Gray seems to have a green cast. I still use white and black to balance my photos and that's fine. When I touch up the color with gray, the photos come out horribly.

These cards are much more convenient to use than smaller cards and don't take up much space. If you use them, you'll probably have plenty of space anyway. They are simpler because when subjects hold them, they inevitably tilt them one way or the other. You have enough space to ensure you have a B/G/W pipette tip in PP. Of course if you are doing a custom white balance I would suggest a gray card as it may not have enough room to calibrate. The cards are durable and colourfast. Great for a post.

gray balance cards should be in a neutral tone. There is quite a blue/green compared to other manufacturers. It's nice to have grey/white/black on top, but it's only useful if you're not trying to go for a neutral color. I think they are more suitable for portrait photography (white gives a bit of a warm tone to the image). Not suitable for neutral product photography.
