PERFECT! Electronics

I just LOVE this product. This gives me the flexibility of a device with two port sizes to suit me. I can transfer my VoiceOver work AND my video/photo work from SD cards and XQD cards. Exactly what I needed. Small and flexible. I wish the cord was a little longer. The ports on the back of my MAC are hard to reach, but it's worth it. BUY IT! YOU WILL LOVE IT!

Does not read CF Express x2 cards.

The first laptop I ordered was not recognized by any of my laptops. Not Asus, HP or my Mac. They sent a second one which was recognized but only read from the SD card. Despite advertising, it does not recognize any Express CF cards.

Reads the new XQD card just fine, but the cable could be a bit longer.

The cable plugs into the back of my iMac upside down and it's a very short cable so it's a bit fiddly. But it works perfectly, the card appears immediately and quickly copies the images. I don't think I need to buy another one.

Additional tier for Mac usage

Arrived quickly. Loads images quickly from SD and XQD cards (G series). Haven't had a chance to try a large transfer, but for about 30 frames it's fast. BUT on a Mac PowerBook with Big Sur, you must use the Apple Image Capture app for the device to find the XQD card. The finder recognizes the SD machine immediately. The XQD is spring-loaded, but the SD card just pops in - be careful.

Quit Job at Computer Accessories & Peripherals

Purchased this item 7 months ago. I'm a regular user, not a professional photographer. The card reader was not heavily used. Yesterday I put the SD card in the appropriate slot and - blinked - nothing. It does not work anymore. Twenty-six bones in the wind. Return to the market for another brand.

Personally, it doesn't disappoint as it doesn't feel cheap or flimsy. It worked great for reading and writing my cards at USB 3.0 speeds. Worked once. and never again

Connected to transfer files from camera, it worked first time. but the next day I did the same and it didn't show up as discoverable on my computer. The light was on, indicating it was plugged in, but it wasn't working. I tried other USB devices and everything worked fine except this one. Later I even tried it on a friend's laptop and the result was the same. I do not recommend this product to anyone and will return it. Big waste of time and money

Very responsive support

I received this item from Revain and it didn't work very well. I had to insert the XQD card multiple times and wait for it to decide to read. My computer crashed when a card was present. I contacted Velogk support and they responded quickly. After failing to do a few simple things, they sent me a new card reader. The one they sent was sealed, Revane's wasn't. Maybe it was a return.
