🏕️ Mill Dome Assembly for V2110 Ventadome by Ventline BV0534-00 Review

Just replaced the factory 14" breather cap with this one. The trailer is a 2018 Rockwood Mini Lite. The front vent cap was a standard, simple, manually operated 14-inch vent cap. The cover was destroyed by hail. This fitted perfectly and should handle our frequent hail just fine. I haven't checked if it's actually aluminum or, as others have pointed out, galvanized steel. I do not care.

It's metal! Doesn't break like plastic. Be careful of the edges, they are sharp. Cut me open with a finger like a tin can. It is good that this is not the place where he is touched heavily. It's still worth it, even with those edges. After the plastic broke (and we didn't notice, so our RV got water damage) we're happy with this purchase.

This is a good replacement for galvanized metal to replace broken plastic. Installation was pretty easy. In order for the swivel mechanism to slide properly, the locking clip had to be cut, but that's okay. I was concerned before purchasing because I didn't see the manufacturer's markings on my vent, but it worked fine. I've attached photos hoping it might help. if you have the same I would definitely buy it again, but I don't have to.

If you live in a sunny place like me, plastic parts age, become brittle and eventually crumble. I definitely have nothing to worry about! Good price, enough for life. The quality is normal. I have replaced the vent caps in the past as we have owned RVs for many years. I learned that plastic lids only last a few years, so I went with a galvanized lid.
