The Camco cover didn't work and it was too expensive to ship back. This one works great and lets in a lot more light, although its quality is better than the OEM. Just look at your hinges before you buy them. Also, it was really a job for two people, one on the roof and the other inside, because all the decoration had to be removed and to put it on you had to unscrew the lever that lifts the lid.

Fits my Thor Majestic 29a vents. Installation should be pretty easy. I have found large blobs of silicone sealant holding the retaining latch on my RV which made installation much more difficult in my case, but it's definitely not a blow to the product. back and the job was done in about 5 minutes including time to raise/remove the roof. I hope this replacement cover will last longer than the original. The lack of UV resistant material in the original Ventline vent cap was quite unexpected. It's also a newer version than the previous Ventline vent cover that I replaced on another trailer a few years ago. I am a retired engineer and used to designing and repairing machines. I've done all post-warranty repairs on my van, including fixing issues related to cracks in poor quality manufacturer design (and there were a lot!). What should have taken 30 minutes is complicated by the fact that removing and installing the cover requires disconnecting the drive and access to the two mounting screws is blocked by the display.
