he fits . . .OK for RV parts and accessories

Fits but you need glue to keep it in place. Pretty expensive for what you get. They are obviously very proud of this product considering how much they get for it and what it is. Well what else can you do. It gets the job done without resorting to another weatherproof gasket to seal the vent to the frame. If I had more time to search I would try to find something else, better quality and for less money. There are high quality automotive rubber products that will do the same job for less. I just…

GOOD like OEM. Easy landing. REVIEW REVIEW help image

Highest rating even though it is only a print. Everything seems just as good as the original. Just a little different, but not enough to affect performance. It was only an inch longer than I needed and was easy to trim. This gasket fits the vertical edge of the vent. There are assembly questions here. The product images do not show a profile view you need to see the details of this gasket and if it will fit your vent. I have activated the profile view. You can see that the protruding edge…

Old style roof vent Edition

I have a 1998 Sunline Solaris with 2 old style roof vents. The original seals looked their age but did the job well. I decide to replace the vent covers before they go bad and let rain/water get into the camper. I installed new Ventline BVD0455-01 seals. I installed a new Camco bleed cap 40168. These seals aren't as forgiving as the 1998 ones. I can't close the lid all the way. There is a gap on the opposite side of the hinge. I thought maybe the filling just needs some time to "form" and relax

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Very expensive
