I love this item. Had one 30 years ago and was surprised it was still around. Easy setting. You will need a short air hose to connect to the air pump. You can adjust how fast or slow it moves by adjusting the airflow.

This is by far the best air toy I have ever bought! I can sit and just watch it, it's bright and not just moving up and down, it's spinning and spinning all over the tank. All the other air toys I've bought just seem to blow bubbles, cool but can't stand my UFO!

Bought these for my sister's birthday, she's a big X-Files fan but I've never been able to buy them for her. She is eleven years older, so the return came as a big surprise to her. I bought two. They are quite large, about four inches wide, and light. She hasn't put them in the tank yet, although judging by her excitement it will be this weekend. Photos in future updates.

Didn't work initially. The small air release valve stuck further up. I took everything apart and the small weight that fits in the valve fell out. So I just glued it back on and it works great. You must have an air control valve for this to work properly. If you just connect an air duct to it, it just stays on top. requires very little air to operate. All I used to fix it was a steak knife to remove the blue cap from it and just took the rest off.

This is a beautiful decoration. Attached to the air hose, I use air splitters and 4 controllers to adjust the movement speed of the ship and 3 other battle scenarios, as well as two air stones in other tanks. Everything is hooked up to a 40 gallon whisper air pump placed high up. If this is your only decorative item, you don't need to press hard, but you need to install an adjustable air pump or attach a controller to hold it up and down.
