Disappointing. in Sports

Should be a high-pressure pump without pressure loss when switched off. One thing I noticed is that if you want to set the pressure to 150psi, you need to pressurize to 175psi. Not impressed. For the price paid I expected a no-loss pump. Not as much.

Cartridge too small to engage valve

After the cartridge is fully seated the valve pin is still not engaged giving 0 pressure reading. I compared the depth of this cartridge to the Topeak pump cartridge and it is 1-2mm shorter. I read that the previous reviewer should have tightened the chuck, but I don't want to risk taking my fork valve apart to do so.

  • Amazing
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Easy to use and very good quality.

Excellent fork and shock. Super easy to use. Very easy to read and it has an auto shut off and auto start so you almost never run out of battery. I use it before every ride and a few of my buddies bought it too. Great price compared to more expensive branded pumps. Who says quality can't be found at an average price! Highly recommended.

Release lever failure

Worked great for two months, then shaft jammed. I was able to get the stem moving again by shaking the nozzle and twisting the trigger a few times. Worked for another month, now the shaft is stuck again and I can't move the shaft. I regret the wasted money on this model and would recommend purchasing the model without the stem release lever.

Very good accurate percussion pump

Appears to be very accurate. Looks the same as Fox's like they were made by the same manufacturer and just didn't get a sticker. The decal and valve end are the only differences I see between the two keeping them side by side. They both gave the same readings for two pairs of forks, so I'm happy with the pump. I do like the valve end a bit better on the Fox but for the 2x price it's not worth the difference.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers

Does the job, could be better

The pump could be better for the price but is fairly light, mainly plastic with some metal parts. My main issue with this pump is the hose and cartridge that bolts onto the shock. First, when you screw the head to the shock/fork, the part is really small and you really have to screw it in. Slightly more expensive I could have bought a Fox branded pump, although they may seem similar they have a longer nozzle which I think will alleviate my problems with this pump. The pump turns onโ€ฆ
