This keyboard is MUCH quieter than any other keyboard I've ever owned. I type out loud and needed something for work that wouldn't make me shy and annoy my co-workers. Of course, it still makes noise when you tap your fingers on the keys, depending on how you're typing. It's not really much of a fuss, though (maybe if you don't have long nails).
