Unreliable Metal Card Reader

Based on our own experience, this card reader fails to consistently read memory cards. The sturdy metal construction is a plus, but it ultimately does not outweigh the frustration of unreliable functionality.

Form and function in one.

This reader is well constructed and works with US Department of Defense websites. I am very pleased with the professional look and easy plug and play.

CAC reader works great with MacBook Air - Sierra OS

This worked straight away with my MacBook Air running Sierra OS 10.12.1. I use it as a CAC reader and have had no problem logging into my webmail and other CAC enabled websites. I didn't need to install any drivers, but I did need to install some US Department of Defense certificates on my computer (you can find all the information on militarycac.com). This is a great product and it took no effort to get it working. I am very comfortable.
