I bought these nuts after changing a tire. The mechanic stated that the outer cover of the original lug nuts was loose and after installing your lug nuts, the mechanic stated how well made the lug nuts were.

They are the same size and function as the OEM nuts, but the overall length is much longer than the OEM nut and much longer than the description. The description lists an overall length of 1.75" but the actual overall length is over 1.9" as shown in the attached photo. This extra length causes them to protrude further from the wheel than standard OEM lug nuts. Not an issue in terms of fit and functionality, but might be an issue for some. The question is; Are they actually Varitek nuts? The box
