The package arrived open and restapled shut. Rods were loose in the bag. So glad those weren’t bent or broken. I ordered these for a door that isn’t steel so I purchased 3M super strong tape to hold them up but be able to remove without damage in the future. The magnet inside of the flimsy rods are not holding up well and have fallen down multiple times while my tape stays secure in place. I also tried it on a steel door in my home and the magnets were not strong enough.

This is for our french doors that lead outside. Magnets Sticks to the metal door well enough to keep them in place for every circumstance EXCEPT when the dog bumps them, she is not a crazy lunatic, but if the curtain is taught, they will pop right off the metal and slam the floor. I intend to secure with a drop of silicon glue so they stay put, but are still removeable without damage. would buy again.

Arrived very quickly! Packaged well but, they aren’t as strong as I had hoped. The magnet slides around when I open the door and there is a bit of a breeze outside. It catches the curtains and pulls the curtain rods and I have to readjust often. Magnets need to be stronger.

I love the idea of these, I have a metal French door and instead of drilling holes these are magnetic. I absolutely love The look of these. The only reason I’m giving them 4 stars is because the magnets are not as strong as I thought they would be. So what ends up happening is we accidentally move it especially by the door knob. I was so excited for these. To not have to drill holes in my doors is just the best thing ever. They are super strong magnets but with the curtains I chose, it could stand to be a bit more powerful of a magnet. They are doing the trick but was a bit tricky keeping them up while adjusting the bottom. I move the bottom, the top came tumbling down. I was worried about this product being strong enough to withstand me opening and closing curtains. Some reviews made it seem like the magnets weren’t strong enough to hold when you’d open or close the curtains and said that they would just fall off the door but I have not had this issue at all! Absolutely love them!

I ordered the 4 pack of rods to cover my French doors however I was unable to put up both sets of curtains since I was sent 4 "out" tips and only 2"in" tips. This leaves the skinny end of the extendable rod just kind of floating in the larger rings and they fall out very easily. Very disappointed with this purchase.

I was shocked to see how scuffed and nicked up these were when I opened the package. They are constantly sliding down the door due to the magnets' inability to support a great deal of weight. I intended to return them, but with everything out of stock or on back order, I decided to keep them until I could find something better. They would be easier to install if the magnets held properly.

I was skeptical that these rods would be sturdy enough under use. Used them to install shears on a set of French doors. Easy to install, magnets are plenty powerful to not only hold shears but keep them in position under normal door use. Great value and the best part - no drill installation.

I purchased this 2 pack, one for the front door and one for the back. The magnets work great, but the actual rod feels very cheaply made. We use the back door more than the front, and the 2 halves of the rod keep falling apart on that door. Seriously frustrating.
