Received another brand jacket

Received another brand instead of Vertx. For some reason the specification says "Manufacturer": AC Kerman, Inc - Sports Apparel and I have "LATEST FASHIONABLE WEATHER". Not worthx.

I have received a jacket from another brand

Instead of Vertx, another brand was received. For some reason the specification says "Manufacturer": AC Kerman, Inc - Sports Apparel and I have "LATEST FASHIONABLE WEATHER". Not worthx.

I like it except for the hood.

Love the look and the fit. The only (really) annoying thing is that the hood doesn't withstand the wind. Most of the time it rains and the wind blows. If you get caught in the wind, you'd better have a free hand to hold the hood up. Otherwise your head will get wet.

Good deal at a lower price.

Looks very good so far. It was October in southern England and everything worked out. Doesn't feel like it breathes as well as advertised. The seams are taped (and taped well) but it looks a bit messy. The only real complaint is that the hood detaches from the jacket very easily. Got a really good deal ($90 instead of $185). I wouldn't give it 4 stars if I paid $185 for it.

AVOID - Save money and buy 5.11 or Goretex, it's twice as much a waste of money

Don't waste your money. I bought the first one a few years ago and was hopeful given the price. After about 1 year of using LIGHT, the liner started to peel off. So I called Vertx and they couldn't believe I was in trouble. That's why I sent the photos. They had no idea so they sent another one. Well, same simple usage, and here's what happens again. What happens is that the liner peels off as it is of poor quality. It has not been used or abused or washed with chemicals such as bleach or…
