Middle compartment gets zippered and tears apart, frustrating because it happened an hour or two after transferring my gear from the old backpack to this new VERTX Ready 2.0 pack, just by opening and finally, I got it in the mail today. If Vertx solves that problem, the bag will be worth every penny as it's a great backpack for everyday use.

I would still use this case as I think the installation is secure but I bought this to carry around when I am uncomfortable wearing it on the body to wear. I wasn't sure about the brand but the reviews have been solid and after wearing it daily for eight weeks it seems to be holding up well. I also like that it's completely invisible to most people as it doesn't scream "Tactical gear inside". Bag Total Gray Man. So if you have a similar need I recommend. I am very picky when it comes to my real estate EDC bag. Constantly on the move, there are things I need while driving. a hot tongue works wonders if there has ever been a hostile encounter. There is also plenty of space in the main compartment. I carry my tablet and 17 inch folio with me and there is still room. Sig, extra magazine, flashlight, etc. Everything fits perfectly. The Vertx Ready Pack 2.0 is truly excellent in many ways. The materials, the workmanship and the attention to detail are consistently excellent. All seams, zippers, etc. are very well made, as is the overall impression. I especially like that there are belt loops to keep everything neat and tidy. The overall design and flexibility is very, very good. With Velcro straps for adding/attaching accessories, there's plenty of room for almost anything. IMO the only two things that could be improved…
