Based on my experience using this locking drum cover, I would not recommend it to anyone in the Industrial and Scientific field .While the plate may be Aluminum Plated, it does not hold up against heavy-duty use. The lock is also easily breakable, making the lockable feature useless..

Based on my observations, its design provides maximum security and prevents theft and tampering .The aluminum plating also ensures that it can withstand harsh weather conditions without rusting. Whilst I am sure this will do the job there are a few important things to consider if you are contaminating the want to avoid contents of the drum This faucet is advertised as brass but is actually spray painted. Also, mine was shipped without a plastic sleeve or anything to keep it clean during transit. I will clean mine and remove paint before use but if you really need to avoid getting dirty don't buy these.
