Fits my rugged Wrangler on the Hill

Works great. I have a beefed up Jeep Wrangler with big tires. Access road with a really nice slope. When I put that behind the wheel, put it in neutral and drive off, the jeep doesn't move an inch.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Almost OK

Hard but only one per set

Very strong chalk. I didn't notice the bad smell like others. The only warning I can give is to make sure you understand you're only getting one. All other kits I've reviewed in this price range came with two. I think I should have read more carefully. Pretty expensive for one.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Reliability

Very poor workmanship

I bought a pair of LWC-15 wheel chocks a few years ago and they were well made and nicely finished with even and aligned quality rubber sheets. The last LWC-15 pads I received today look like they were made by the clumsy blind Big Foot using blunt rocks as a cutting tool. Not what I expected. Worse still, the rubber used is of extremely poor quality. It should cost around $1 or less to make. And yes, they are made in China.

Hard wearing and functional

They are great. Unlike some other plastics I've bought at Autozone that didn't stay in place well, these work well. I use a rubber mallet to pound them in place. They are tall and wide. The curve fits. They're mostly rubber and that rubber contact on the bottom seems to help them stay in place too. They're expensive and the delivery time isn't fast, but this is the best example of a wheel chock I've seen. I use it to lock the wheels on ATVs and vintage tractors when moving them on a trailerโ€ฆ

Hard Blocks - All Purpose Tool

These blocks are heavy and oversized. I am using them for a two axle enclosed cargo trailer but they can be used in any vehicle, residential, boat and trailer application where the user needs the ability to provide stability for storage, lifting, loading and unloading. The surfaces have a high friction potential and are non-slip. There are strong welded handles to make pad placement and pulling easier, which can be tied with string for easy access. This is a first class product, more expensiveโ€ฆ

  • Immobilizers and Wheel Blocks

Great for vans Good for immobilizers and wheel chocks

I am using these Vestil pads with a 14,500lb GVW RV that uses 225/75r16 tires. I prefer chocks that don't crack or crush like plastic chocks. When I first started motorhome driving I used what I carried in my cars and trucks, but I quickly realized that with heavier motorhomes and/or larger wheels, heavier wheel chocks were required. This Vestil wheel chock is taller and longer than traditional car wheel chocks and the handle provides easy leverage when removing the wheel chock from under theโ€ฆ
