You can't go wrong with K&N, I have used all their products on various vehicles for a long time. Their stuff is always high quality, much better than stock. It was a direct replacement for my Subaru and was very easy to install with no modifications. Plus, like most K&N filters, it can be cleaned and reused.

Okay, I love all K&N products but it's very frustrating to order this product twice only to be disappointed both times with the sealed box I opened (both Male) did not have a filter compartment cover, the instructions advise to put "provided" and "attached". I sent both back and opted for the original replacement. Pooh!

Item looked good out of the box (it wasn't torn/damaged, mostly in perfect condition). I removed the old filter and when I was ready to install the new one, I found that the "door" fitting (the piece of plastic covering the hole where the filter fits) was not in the box. The million dollar filter is useless without the ability to seal it once installed so sadly I have to go back.

I have used K&N filters for many years. I liked the idea of a washable cabin air filter instead of throwing about $15-$20 in the trash every year. I suppose with washable I'll actually clean it when needed! Ha! I also installed one in my wife's car. We both hate every smell and don't smell a smell; Not sure what I'll do when it comes time to clean it - I can just dry it. I will try to report back after the first cleaning and longer use.

Hi Folks To be honest Revain's info is clear that the cap is not included. K&N produced a series of filter kits with part number: VF2055 which incorrectly did not include a cap. So all you have to do is contact K&N and get a replacement cover. 4 stars for now until I see how well it filters the dusty air in my area. I doubt that the original filter will allow a large amount of dust and particles to enter my new car.
