Best tripod, great price

This is a fantastic tripod! I like the smooth feel in my head as I lean and pivot. Robust is also a great word for this tripod. I have a full Sony f7 here and it handles it with no problems.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Good but not great

Comparable to my Manfrotto but weighs less than

I really like the height of the tripod and use it more than the Manfrotto HD tripod. The head is smooth once you adjust it to your liking and I love that it comes with extra mounting screws and an extra base plate.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!

Very important! good for shooting and photographing

Tripod is light, strong and powerful. Pan and tilt are smooth. The hydraulic head is detachable, which is great for tall hats and carts. We had a problem: the back of the flip-locks had to be tightened after use over the weekend. So far we really like this tripod!

Pros
  • Easy to set up
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Incredible bang for your buck

Great tripod, amazing quality for the price. I teach film/video production and need tripods that can withstand abuse from students. This tripod is amazing; Well built, easy to use, easy to level and really durable. The carry case is great and the fact that it comes with two mounting plates is a real bonus. Now I have four of these and they are amazing. They're not ultra-light, but I want the tripod to provide a solid base, and the little extra weight is actually a plus.

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Incredible price

Camera mount

This tripod would have gotten 5 stars were it not for the fact that the mount used to attach the camera to the tripod is not so small. It would be nice if it was like a big, oversized tilt lock knob. I also don't like that I have to use the hex wrenches that come with the kit for final tightening. I see that if someone stronger than me could easily rip off the heads of the hex bolts. Otherwise, it's a really good, high-performance tripod.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Damaged

I can't wait to buy more of these!

I was looking for a really good tripod that wouldn't break the bank. I have previously purchased an Avella monopod and have enjoyed working with it so far. I am so happy with this purchase. From the quality of the carrying case to the functionality and versatility of the liquid head (with semi-circular bowl), I simply cannot recommend this tripod enough. This tripod costs a lot less than the Manfrotto but looks and feels like a really high quality product. I already have two more in my cart…

Pros
  • Solid construction
Cons
  • old

Used it with a Panasonic G85 with a 100-300 lens for a couple of days. So far nothing to please. Unlike other reviewers, I had smooth pans and tilts. I am impressed with the build quality of the pod and head. Requires a standard arca plate, which is good. My Manfrotto professional gear is too big for a DSLR or similar camera and I don't do professional video anymore, so this gear is perfect. The legs are quite stiff even when fully extended. The ball leveling head is an unexpected bonus at this

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Compatibility

Loose Lock - Full Tripods

This tripod has worked very well for me for a while but after a few months of owning it I've started to have minor issues. Sometimes when I lock my legs in the extended position, one of them slips back even when locked. This caused the tripod (and my camera) to fall (luckily onto my bed). Since then I haven't dropped it, but sometimes it starts to slip and I have to correct it. Overall it stays stable most of the time so I don't feel the need to replace it or buy a new one. I just won't trust…

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Great video tripod great price

This is a great video tripod set and really good value for money. Includes a very nice soft zipped carry case and a heavy duty detachable adjustable shoulder strap - looks 'professional' all round. The tote also has an inside zip pocket to keep small items from getting lost. The kit also includes a second mounting plate shoe so you can mount two cameras at the same time. These are also mounting shoes made of metal. The gimbal head is powerful, has a very smooth ride and offers very easy…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Not sure
