🔧 98 Viair Compressor Kit Review

Purchased for Firestone airbags. Works great in combination with reset magnet, pressure gauge, rocker switch and fuse. 30 seconds to 40 psi or so. A lot of money saved compared to buying a bundle from Firestone.

This little compressor is a sight to behold. I used it to replace the crappy one that came with my floats on my plane. For a small compressor, it pumps a lot of air. The small size and light weight made it a great choice for my application.

I bought this compressor to replace the POS compressor which burned out after a year of operation at Campbell Hausfeld. Fills a 1 gallon tank in about 2-3 minutes with little piston heat. Definitely recommend and will buy from Viair again.

We use these compressors on all of our rear air suspension or "buzz" systems. They perform flawlessly and defy the elements. They're not recommended for front/rear quick-lift systems with air tanks, but we've had several budget builds with this compressor on a 150psi derailleur and had no problems. If you are looking for a fast system compressor then the 280C or 380C is for you. With a little searching you can find mounts to store and remove anything from your saddlebags (even the big 380C).

Bought from Horn Blasters and I couldn't be happier. Installs in minutes and works great. It works with Monroe Max Air Corvette shocks on a retro 2003 Honda VTX 1800. It takes about 15 seconds to go from 0 psi to fully deploy the suspension. That's me and I'm running around the 220 pound mark. So everything is great.
