Description of ViewHD Input Outputs 1080P Splitter

This is the original ViewHD HDMI v1.3 1x2 splitter supports all HDMI video formats up to 1080P@60Hz and 3D; for HDMI v1.4 model, please check "U9-Pluto". Does not support CEC to avoid usage confusion; CEC is not a good feature for HDMI splitters. Full metal jacket construction for durability and reliability. Application: The single input is to be connected to an HDMI source, such as Xbox, the two outputs are to be connected to two displays, both displays share the same identical video and audio signal. To get 3D, both displays must support 3D. Max Cable extension 10 meters by 28Awg HDMI cable 15 meters by 26Awg HDMI cable. Splitter size: 7cm x 6cm x 2cm; plug and play with HDMI 1.3 1080P sources or displays. Package includes: VHD-1X2MN3D HDMI 1x2 Splitter, 100V-240V AC to 5V1A DC power adapter; User Manual. U9 / ViewHD One Year Warranty. Seller Recommendation: The latest U9-Pluto model is a better choice, even though the U9-Pluto model is HDMI v1.4, but it was specially designed to be forward compatible to latest HDMI v2.0; the VHD-1X2MN3D is HDMI v1.3, it will not work when both the HDMI source and display are HDMI v2.0 models.

Works Like: Accessories & Supplies

I bought this to remove DHCP so I can watch Netflix and other programs in my 2014 city and country. This box did nothing when I first plugged it in, including HDMI and power. Another. but by accident I found that for certain applications it works if you don't connect it to the power supply. it works on Netflix and YouTube as well as Disney+ and Prime Video, it doesn't work on Apple Movies/TV Shows. Movies Everywhere or Most Important + I was still seeing DHCP errors with these programs. that's…

I was having issues with my Roku Ultra, often not delivering any output to my projector and AV system. There would be a lot of black screens and flashes. Then I found out about problems with HDCP protection. I found this on some searches, this solved the hdcp issues that were causing some issues. I like its customizability, but I've found that it works with the default settings. It's great, I didn't even need a splitter, but its ability to solve the latest HDCP protection issues is great. When…

Solution that worked!

Bought one of your Revain 3 port switcher/audio extractors about 3 weeks ago. Model number UHD3X1ABK. FANTASTIC PRODUCT! Was able to solve SEVERAL connectivity issues for about $40. Connected HDMI inputs from DirectTV box, ROKU stick and our BlueRay player with ABSOLUTELY NO problems. GREAT! The product works PERFECTLY! All three inputs now pass my receiver/surround system flawlessly. I also love the handy little remote control for switching between inputs! I have previously tried SEVERAL…

Works great! - Satellite TV Hardware

This SPLITTER WORKS GREAT for connecting both a 1080p monitor and a 1080p HDMI to USB adapter to an OBS Studio laptop. Sometimes all I had to do was plug the splitter in and turn it on when the monitor was plugged in (to output port #1), and shortly after that plugged in the cable going to the laptop (to output port #2). There are a few physical switches that need handling under some EDID conditions, but the splitter worked for me without messing with them. By the way, I RECOMMEND THIS DIVIDER…

Good, but not good enough

Model: UHD1X4SA The build quality of this unit is amazing. The main reason I bought this unit was to get Dolby Vision and send it to my TLC R617 TV (TV with ARC, NOT eARC) via HDMI Out #1 and uncompressed audio like Dolby True-HD and DTS HD -Master to send via HDMI. Output #2 to my old Onkyo that doesn't support 4K passthrough and the inputs are HDMI 1.4. At first I got HDR and Dolby TrueHD, but after a lot of effort I managed to get Dolby Vision to work and Dolby True-HD was sent to my…

Very very satisfied: splitter

I have struggled for a long time to send a dual signal between our main 4K TV and a 1080P TV in another room. For some sources this will work fine. For other sources video would be great but there would be no sound at all. With some other sources I would get neither video nor audio. This little box solved ALL of those problems. Setting up this splitter/extractor is very easy, but note that port 1 does not offer any downscaling. I connected our 1080P TV to port 1 of the ViewHD splitter and had…

Great solution for my needs

I had a problem with my ROKU which I used to power my home theater projector. I needed to cut audio from HDMI to send it to my sound system so I bought an audio extractor. This worked fine, but every few minutes the video would lose lock and freeze completely for about 5 seconds (I'm pretty sure it's an HDMI issue). I isolated it from the extractor, but instead of replacing the extractor I bought a U9 splitter. I now have video going through the splitter to my projector and the splitter copies…

HD Audio Passthrough to Old AVR

I don't often write reviews. Let me preface that when it was needed I ordered 5 more 4K splitters and this particular model (including another U9 model) was the best to build. The material is metal (as opposed to plastic) and all ports are on the same side, which is a plus. Some other devices had cables going in and out at both ends, making placement in my media cabinet awkward. There are very bright blue lights that are ALWAYS on when the device is online. This was fixed with a piece of black…
