4 months and it went wrong

The monitor was fine for 4 months. It suddenly started showing horizontal lines regardless of whether it was connected to a source or not (the screensaver still shows the lines when turned on without being connected to a computer). It's "out of the return window" so I have to deal with Viewsonic. It's Wednesday morning and they said they "could" get a replacement by Friday AND I have to pay shipping both ways and they want to block my credit card for a replacement monitor if I don't return the…

Great monitor, BAD delivery job from Revain.

Great monitor, very good colors and crisp text when switched on. After two years with a mediocre monitor, I honestly forgot what a good monitor looks like. Where's the difference! I chose ViewSonic because I used to use them at work and they always seemed good and reliable. But when it arrived it was in its own box in a large Revain with only brown paper. That's all? Also no bubble? I mean WTH? Who supplies this LCD monitor? I'll be monitoring this very closely for flaws as Revain stock really…

Good average monitor for the money.

Seems to be working fine. No complaints. I will update the review if anything changes. A good average monitor at an affordable price. The 3-year warranty can be annoying, but it's better than nothing.

Too wide for the resolution, choose a smaller or larger resolution.

This was my first purchase of an external monitor, so I took a small risk. The product is good for what it is, but looking back, 28 inches is too wide for a 1080p display. If you're set for a 28-inch display, you get 1440p. But if you're like me and don't want to spend for 1440p (which is MUCH more expensive than 1080p), I'd just go for a smaller monitor (21-24ft max). If I had to do it all over again I would buy two 21 inch monitors and be done with it. Keep in mind this is no blow to…

I love this monitor best in my review

Size, color, image and sharpness. Excellent value for money and quality. UPDATE: I've had this monitor for about a month now and I'm still amazed at the picture quality. I've always had Samsung monitors before, but I don't remember them being that good.

Pretty good monitor and good value for money

Pretty good monitor and good value for money. I use for AutoCad and other applications and the fine line resolution is good. As with many monitors, the controls for adjusting and customizing aren't very intuitive, you'd think Viewsonic would be ahead of the curve with this monitor. No Apple display, but for the money I'm satisfied

Shit documentation

The monitor itself looks pretty good, but the manual and controls layout sucks. There's no diagram or photo of the screen adjustment controls, which are hidden underneath with a skill that rivals that of a teenage girl hiding her diary. Adjusting things like color and brightness means blindly searching under the device for tiny imperfections and taking old hits and misses in hopes of a favorable outcome because you have no idea what's doing what or where it might be. Would it be too difficult…

Not what I expected but satisfactory

I was a bit disappointed that it only goes up to 1920 resolution, but I should have researched more on that. It only has VGA, no DVI, which again lets it down. But a bright clear display. The normal tint seemed yellowish so I set it to cool which was a little better. It works, but I will get a higher resolution monitor in the future.
