Great jacket, with 2 minor imperfections

Ok I really like this jacket for the comfort (feels really great), looks, functionality, safety and value. I have two problems. When I tried to tighten one of the hand fabric gathers first, it came loose from the sewn-in anchors. Second, one day my hand got a bit sweaty and when I tried to take the jacket off, it ripped out one of the inner button holders for the lining. Those are my two quality problems. I didn't want to deal with returns and exchanges, so I'll sew in a new outer sleeve anchor

Pros
  • Great overall features
Cons
  • thin

I'm not quick to write reviews, so I've used this jacket in hot and cool weather, sunny and foggy weather, etc. now. I really like this jacket! I wear a European size 38 suit so the jacket is a bit big for me. I can move without being tied down, zip or unzip while riding, and open any zipped pocket while wearing gloves. I've found that the lining should come out when the ambient temp is above 60; below 50 I can do shorter tours without food. Between 80's and 90's I need to unzip the zipper a…

Great overall jacket

First of all, this is my everyday jacket, the front is completely black, not like the photo, it is a reflective strip. The fit is good, the arms, wrists and waist are adjustable. It has many pockets including a detachable 1-pocket lining. The liner comes to hand. I haven't tried impregnation yet. I'm 5'10" and 197 pounds. I wear a large size, which also fits perfectly because of the too wide adjustment options. Not sure what other people are saying about adjusting the arms, maybe if you have…

Great summer/autumn jacket over 55 degrees.

Excellent jacket. I wear 3xl t-shirts loosely and the 3xl jacket fits perfectly. 6 feet 3,290 pounds. I really like the removable lining. Suitable for a great unlined summer jacket and everything that has an angle of more than 55 degrees with a sling. I was riding the other way in temperatures of 50 and 46 degrees and there was too much cold wind blowing through the lightning to keep me warm. Lots of pockets inside! There are 2 on each side, plus one more lined which is a great feature as you…

Bang for your dollar!

Great jacket for motorcyclists. Temperature: Definitely warm enough for chilly days (45F+). On warmer days, the lining opens up and vents catch the breeze. Sizing wise I need to give it time to break in. I'm 6ft 6" and ordered a large. I think I should have chosen XL. Any medium size but fits perfectly in this jacket. There are 3 adjustment points on each arm and two on the lower back, meaning it sits nicely over or under other clothing. I'm not worried about losing anything along the way. My…

Design and quality are top notch!

Viking Stealth fits perfectly! It is made of excellent material, strong and durable but comfortable at the same time. There is a reflective strip on the front. I wish there was one or even two on the back of the jacket. Precisely because the front reflective strip is more design than functionality. It's a bit hard to see when driving at night, simply because your own headlight will suppress reflections and may be seen better from behind if it pops out over your red taillight for oncoming…

Great Price Jacket Jacket

This jacket has a lot going for it considering it only costs $99.99. This is a first review of the jacket after two different rides totaling about 5 hours. It's really well ventilated for warm weather riding (when the liner is removed) but the jacket is not a full mesh jacket. Only parts of the jacket are mesh, which is fine if you don't want a full mesh jacket. Once the temperature drops to a cooler temperature, say 65 degrees, you can tuck in the lining and it's like making a much warmer…
