I love this tablecloth! With proper care, it should last a lifetime.

This is very elegant and will add a simple, charming beauty to our home/dining room. I love natural linen fabric (a replacement for a shiny polyester tablecloth made in China that was showing wear and tear after just a year. Lesson learned. I will now only buy quality beautiful and useful things that are made for many years). Good quality, best kitchen and table linen

Ordered 70x126 in gold and grey. I posted a photo from gray to dark and hard. gold storage. Machine wash on delicates and tumble dry on low for about 15 minutes. Dried out probably 10 minutes Shrunk a bit in length but too long to start with. I now have an 8" drop and the recommended drop is 10" but that's fine. Probably 7 inches wide but I'm sure it will shrink a bit after several washes. I ironed the silk setting with the steam on. Given that it's 90% linen and 10% lurex, I think the price is

Linen is not an easy fabric, but if you are comfortable with it then this is a great quality.

CONS: 1) After washing, the laundry needs to be ironed to look like the product photo. The crumpled look doesn't go so well with the sophisticated style of this tablecloth. 2) Stains are not easy to remove. If you opt for light-colored linen, you may find yourself changing the tablecloth often or living with stain residue (tomato sauce, anyone?). 3) Clumps of tufts are inherent in linen fabric.
