Exactly as promised by the manufacturer, high quality.

Took for Tamron 35-150mm f2.8-4 complete with Sony A7C. Earlier I wrote that there was a problem with working in the cold (the adapter rebooted and did not turn on); So, after ating the firmware, the problem disappeared. Also, I wiped the contacts with isopropyl alcohol on the advice of some people from some forums, but I donโ€™t know if it helped. After the ate, there were small artifacts. For example, the adapter does not always wake up after the camera goes into sleep mode, sometimes it does

Pros
  • Autofocus works. After ating the firmware, as in the comments, the problem with working in the cold went away.
Cons
  • Sometimes smears in bad light, but maybe it's the lens.

Not a bad product, nothing extraordinary.

I bought this adapter for sony a7iii and canon 85 1.8 lens. At home, when checking, everything suited me, but on the set, he let me down. When shooting quickly with eye tracking, after 25-30 seconds of continuous tracking, the entire camera hung up without the possibility of turning it off with the button. Focusing accuracy also suffered. The frames are blurry at a shutter speed of 1/500 (while the model stood motionless like me), this is apparently due to freezing. Also, if you change lensesโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Supports and monitors real-time AF for eyes and face
Cons
  • Because of the adapter, the camera turns on and off for a long time. Sometimes it does not detect the lens, which is why there is no autofocus (only with handles). In continuous shooting, the entire camera can freeze so that it canโ€™t even be turned off without removing the battery.

Not my best purchase, you could have found something else.

I have several original Sony 16-55, 55-210 lenses and, in my opinion, the camera works better with them than with Canon lenses through an adapter With its pros: My camera is Sony A6000 Canon EF-S 24 (2.8 STM), 17-55 (2.8 IS USM), 55-250 (4.5-5.6 IS) lenses are available - the adapter works fine with them in cdaf contrast autofocus mode, but in pdaf phase autofocus mode lenses can only focus at a distance of about a meter, no more. Autofocus speed, in my opinion, is significantly lower than itโ€ฆ
