Great portrait lens!

Great lens for portraits! Sharp details and creamy bokeh! Autofocus sometimes misses, but it's more reliable than not. Very happy with this lens!

Great lens for your money!

This is an amazing lens for the price. I'm not a professional photographer or videographer, but I appreciate good gear. The build quality is good, the autofocus is great, the control rings are smooth and easy to maneuver, and it just looks amazing in front of the camera! If you want to photograph people, like school photos or portraits of any kind, this is a great lens.

Suitable for SONY full frame cameras

I recently purchased this 56mm APSC lens from Viltrox. Using it with a SONY A7iii in APSC crop mode is the same as my 85mm FF lens so I compared the two. Watch the video to see if you notice any differences. The autofocus was fast and I liked that the minimum depth of field is much shallower. Build quality is good as it's metal and aluminum and the focus and aperture rings are smooth. This is great for video, as you have the option to change the aperture manually (without clicking) on the lens,
