If not Canon don't buy

To be honest it didn't work on my Canon RP, used the RF adapter on the back and for auto focus or manual focus and tried about 3 different lenses. The worst thing was hearing a short in the lens, the main reason I returned it is not to buy it.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Works great Concerned about durability.

This small 2x extension is very effective. It actually outperforms the much more expensive 2x I've used in the past. My only concern is that the case is plastic, not very durable. Great for this money!

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

It looks like a fun toy. But it just stinks

I put it on a standard Canon and Canon 80D lens. The exposure values of my camera are no longer accurate. The autofocus stops working and if you manage to snap a picture, the quality is pretty bad. And that's all before I talk about how useless it is to have a camera with a minimum aperture of about 13.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Hard to remember but it was

Very happy with the results!

These images were shot with a Panasonic GH5 camera with a Canon Viltrox adapter, Viltrox 2x teleconverter and 100-400mm II lens for 4K video recording. The video looks great! These were frame captures. Very happy with the sharpness! I also used it with my Canon 5DS and 100-44mm lens and had to update the firmware on my lens and it worked great! I'm so glad I saved over $400.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time

Works well, but something is wrong with the autofocus

Had to disable auto focus on two Canon lenses I tested. The EF 24-105mm zoom lens seemed to work for me, but then I started searching and didn't stop at a fixed focus. The EF 70-300mm L USM zoom lens had to be set to manual focus to work. But Canon's standard EF 75-300mm zoom lens set to autofocus seemed to work well, although focus was a little soft, even when switching to manual focus it was difficult to get sharp focus.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive

Works *fairly* well with my Canon 70-200 (f4) to 250D (SL3)

When the adapter was first connected the lens didn't interact properly with the camera. He showed "F00" and didn't let me take a real picture. I restarted the camera and it worked great. The autofocus worked and everything seemed fine. Result. Most of the time when I turn on the camera everything works fine. Sometimes it doesn't get recognized properly and I have to restart the camera (maybe a couple of times). If you need to turn on the camera and snap a picture at all times, you probably want

Pros
  • understandable for the old one too
Cons
  • Some minor issues
