This is a terrible remote but I bought this remote in July and it's February and I'm having a problem with it right now. My TV turned itself off and the power button doesn't work on this remote. When I press any button on the remote my TV turns on but I can't access my Smart TV apps. I don't know why but I wouldn't recommend the remote control

It didn't last long. I replaced my LG remote because the button cracked and fell off my new TV remote. I don't know what happened, the dog or cat played with it. In any case, this remote control - often - does not work properly. I was happy with this for a month before the buttons worked about half the time. I remove and reinstall the batteries and mostly it works again. I'd rather spend the money on a different factory version.

One of our two dogs has something that draws him to the TV remotes. We always catch him before he opens the battery compartment (thanks), but he usually chews the top up to the point where the remote is useless. In almost three years he has survived at least 4 or 5. It's the ONLY thing he chews besides his toys, so we can't get too mad! It goes perfectly with the remote control the company provided during installation and is relatively inexpensive!

The first remote I received was broken, the right button didn't work at all. The button I needed the most of course. He was promptly replaced. To be honest I feel like some of the buttons are a bit fiddly on the second one I got but the hassle of coming back is bugging me and I won't be doing it again.
