too short for track lighting

Lamp working well but cannot be used as track lighting as it is slightly shorter than a normal lamp - Philips part with same specs. In this case, the contact has not reached the end of the socket.

Great light for bulbs

These bulbs were specially developed for illuminated souvenir cupboards! Glad to find it as I had just bought an oddity and the bulb blew out pretty quickly! Now I have the right bulb, it's decorative and gives great light!

Blown out after a few months

We used them in a display case that ran about 8 hours every day. They consistently burned out after two months, well below the 1000 hour lifespan stated on the packaging. The light was good and clear, but I need to buy something else, I can't change them every two months.

These par 20 pears have a short neck which makes them very difficult to get out of my hood.

From the edge. After sitting in an air vent for a year or two before blowing out, they're nearly impossible to remove as there's no way to get your fingers around the bulb. A friend once solved this problem for me by putting tape on the bottom with the ends sticking out and then carefully unscrewing it. Some par 20 pears have a slightly longer neck and are 3 3/8 inches high instead of 3 inches and this solves the problem. These bulbs have a nice warm white light and are dimmable.
