UPDATE: This company has great customer service! Obviously bulbs can be put in closed sockets so this is not user error but a problem with the bulbs. You replace them for me. They will definitely become my first choice for Edison bulbs and I will recommend them to my friends. :) A very happy customer! I love her! They are beautiful lights and emit a pleasant, warm glow. I like the look of these bulbs. They give off a warm glow, but they don't give off enough light to really see. So if you're looking for a bulb to light up a hallway or room to get almost any task done, this bulb won't fit. I'm sorry but I have to be honest.
