These lightbulbs are taking too much heat out of my bathroom. I love the look of these lamps but I can't stand the heat in my bathroom I need to replace them.

I bought 12 of these bulbs (really only needed one but buying 12 was cheaper in the long run) for a steampunk lamp base. These lamps are very contemporary and I love the curved look. It's like 1890 again. They can be used on dimmer switches and are so cool to look at. I'm glad I have 12 of these, I might try replacing the lightbulbs in the ceiling fans with them.

I give them 5 stars because they are exactly how they should be. These are beautiful bulbs and they look fantastic in my lamp. I would even say that they are quite bright. But they are very yellow. That's why I don't like her. I have ordered some fake Edison bulbs with bright white LEDs which I hope I like better. I don't want to discount them due to my preference but this is the review I would like to read. They are very yellow! And they make the room look weird.

These great looking bulbs bring 'old elegance' to the fitting to match. The golden hue of the bulbs, along with the glow of the cage filament, give them a sense of being from an earlier time and place - they are a 'statement' in their own right. But when I bought two lights with 8 bulbs each, I didn't realize what the additional costs would be. And once all the bulbs were in place and the light was on, I felt the warmth of the bulb! Luckily these are dimmable bulbs so I don't have to crank them
