Vionic Astor Preston Slip Loafer: Stylish Comfort for Everyday Wear Review

I have a pair of Vionic sandals and I like them. They are my favorites from my closet. Because of that experience, I bought these shoes. I want to love her, but I don't. I'm really starting to hate her. you pinch; they force my legs into an unnatural and unhealthy position. 5 minutes after wearing them I want to chop my legs off to the ankle. A big disappointment for the price.

My husband has had plantar fasciitis for about 4 years. Since one of our acquaintances recommended these shoes, he only wears shoes from this brand. He wears one or two Vionic shoes all day, every day, because going barefoot can make plantar fasciitis worse. That's why he always has a pair of Vionic shoes on his feet. Laceless Preston moccasins that he uses for work. They are very comfortable and last a long time. We'll be ordering this model as long as they make it, I'm sure.

The black boot I ordered first was good. The tan shoes I later ordered were disappointing. Black shoes have black soles. The tan shoes have a brown sole that they dyed black. As you can see in the picture. After a few days of wearing, the soles of the tan boots began to have paint peeling off. I find this unacceptable. Bought these shoes for my husband. He wears Vionic shoes for their excellent arch support. I bought Vionic Preston shoes for Christmas. He loves her. They're simple enough to wear with jeans, but elegant enough to wear with formal wear for a night out. He loves the look and especially appreciates the excellent arch support. Really well made, high quality product. Will definitely buy this shoe or another style in black.

Almost true to size except the toe box is slightly longer which makes them look like narrow shoes. Oddly, the arch support on the left was too far back (to the heel). Also, the arch support isn't as high as the previous pair. The outsole has several spikes across the width to make it more flexible, that's all. Comfortable, well-made upper and, just so you know, it doesn't even have a heel. So, from here it's up to you.

This is the most expensive pair of shoes I've bought in a long time. I bought these based on the good orthopedic support reviews. In fact, the shoes are very comfortable and help with my plantar fasciitis. But I've never had a pair of shoes fall apart in just 8 weeks! I bought them on April 17, 2019 and it is now June 11, 2019. I only wear them to work, to the office. I don't use them for long walks etc. Then why are they falling apart? Not recommended.
