Viper Framed Dartboard Backboard Mahogany Review

While this backboard is well made and looks good, darts won't stick unless you're a power thrower. With that, you also need something to protect your floor. If you and the people you play with rarely miss the board then you will be fine, but if you are new or inexperienced this is not for you.

Bought as a Christmas present. The box was in perfect condition so I kept it with the rest of the gifts without opening it. When it opened for Christmas, the felt panel was moldy. However, the box was in perfect condition. If you buy one, look at it immediately.

My husband got a very nice dartboard for his birthday. We soon discovered that some people (aka me) don't have the gift of precision. To save our walls, I turned to Revane for a solution. Loved ordering this sign, it frames the dartboard and looks lovely on the wall. Thank you Rewin! I don't get "eyes" anymore when shooting darts with it!

Attaches securely to any playroom. Some people complain that arrows don't stick to the shield. If this is related to the set distance, consider sharpening or replacing your darts or changing your technique. If you can't get enough of a dartboard or that nearly 30 inch sign from a certain distance, don't throw darts or operate heavy machinery. Point.

I must have put off purchasing a backboard for my dart set by about two months due to the terrible reviews for each backboard. I really wanted to make my own but eventually gave up and settled on this sign. So far I have no regrets. If someone misses the board and frame, they are not allowed to throw the dart from the start. I like this sign because it is beautiful and functional. The only small issue is that I replaced the pre-installed target mount with a much better and more secure one. But the circuit board is pretty thin (maybe 1/8 inch) and even short screws have made their way to the other side. As a solution I can replace the screws with short nuts and bolts. First I would like to say that I am completely new to darts and had no idea what to buy. Reading some other reviews I hesitated to buy this because some people said the darts don't get stuck in the board. Installation: There are no instructions with the board, but the installation is very intuitive. Update: I've read some other reviews about their darts falling out all the time. I don't see how it happens. Either the darts you use are cheap, you need to sharpen the tip, or you need to learn how to throw a dart better. I had maybe two arrows that hit and missed the shield. I've been visited a few times by friends who were way better than me and when they hit the shield the arrows stuck right in them. Playing with my fiancé or my mother is a different story though.
