I had to remove the top clip to install it on my 2013 Tundra so I gave it 4 stars for installation. I should have posted a picture of it too, but I didn't. Will be updated if there are any problems. These lights are really bright, here is an updated pic after installation and they've had them for a week.

It took me less than 10 minutes to replace both license plate lights. I removed the original bulb assembly and bulb, inserted the new light into the old bulb's socket, cut out a plastic tab on the back of each assembly (my Tundra only had a cutout for a tab), reassembled everything, and installed the new assembly . back into the bumper and tighten the Phillips head screws! These replacement lights pretty much do what they say they do, and the body looks just like the original lights. The instructions miss the important step that you need to remove the flexible plastic base gasket from the original lights and transfer it to the new housings for a proper installation. Vehicle: 2011 Toyota Tacoma with stock bumper Good: Good value for money. Very bright. A significant improvement over halogen and better than replacing wedge LEDs. To install these things on my 2010 Toyota Tacoma I first had to break off two small pieces of the housing so I could install the lights into my bumper. After installing them I had to use the old gaskets that came around the old headlights on these headlights to hold them in place. Plug and play is very easy and the lights look very nice.
