Purchased for use as a high temperature silicone sealant on a newly installed gas fireplace flue. I wanted something that would match the silver galvanized chimney pipe as opposed to the black or red caulk offered by chimney vendors. It spread well and filled the seams and seemed to set well. The real test comes in the spring when the snow melts to see how well this material has weathered the winter without coming loose from the joints.

Have used this several times. I first used it to restore the 2G-DSM engine and applied it to all the places indicated in the manual. There were no leakage problems. I recently (within the last 3 days) used what I had left over from restoring vq35de. The fact that I've used it 2 times in recovery should speak for itself.
