Perfect balance of softness and firmness. My wife had back pain from our mattress, we bought a new one and the pain continued. I finally got this mattress pad and the next day she woke up pain free. It feels luxurious and is very comfortable. What I particularly didn't like was that it was wrinkled by the way it was folded in the box. I would like it to be shipped rolled instead of folded. Some of the wrinkles went away the next day, but not completely.

This memory foam mattress topper is as expected. It has straps to keep it in place and it still slips a little, probably because my mattress is so thin. Doesn't cool at all.
