After losing two German Shepherds to cancer, I did extensive research on pellets and found that most of them are high in carbohydrates, which can contribute to cancer . very low carb, small and both my dogs love it, both chicken and beef. I think they eat better than me. Great product, expensive but worth every penny for my furry family.

For 8 years we have been fighting recurring ear and hoof fungus infections that have never completely gone away. The new vet switched the dog's diet to RAW/KETO but the dog has been eating dry food for years and wanted our other dogs so badly but it can cause a yeast infection. This is our 10th bag at 22lbs - about 1 bag every 5 weeks for a 45lb 2 year old Aussie who is very active. Within a few weeks of switching to Visionary Pet (Beef version), we noticed visible changes in Benny's health. Notably, his poop has increased from 3-4 a day, thin and very smelly, to 2 a day, hard and little odor. Its energy is extraordinary, there are no signs of allergies or skin irritations. It seems to be a very good macronutrient mix and worth the money.

The product seems to be of high quality and the list of ingredients speaks for itself. Dogs don't need carbs and I'm tired of seeing pets become diabetic. Do what's right for your pet and spend a little more to help them lead happier, healthier lives. I have a picky husky and she ate him the first time with no regrets. I will say they are thirsty for a while but once their body adjusts to keto it goes away. Give it time and your dog will be a lot happier.

I would not recommend this product. I bought a bag for my daughter's dog and a bag for my diabetic dog. Both of our dogs started gagging, drinking excessively, urinating a lot more than usual and being restless. Two different dogs, two different bags, two different houses. My dogs LOVE this food! But as I delve deeper into the keto lifestyle, I'm learning that the protein macro is what we need to achieve and fat is supposed to be the balance.
