That corresponds to the size. My son is very picky about shoes as he has a fairly high instep. But these shoes fit him perfectly. At first there was a problem with my order, but customer service solved the problem in seconds.

Insulated. We didn't want anything that could keep us warm while hiking in warm weather. This will not suit us since we live in the desert. I chose them because they are cheaper than our regular brands, have a velcro closure and have been told they are waterproof. We will come back and just pay more for Merell or Hi-Tec kids walking shoes as they were not hot to wear and proved waterproof. It costs an additional $15.

This is my third pair of boys' boots from this manufacturer. I'm an older woman who loves the fit and functionality of these boots. I'm just saying you don't have to be a boy to buy and wear them. I get them in size 6.5 (I usually wear 7.5 or 8 for women's shoes) and they are wide enough for my not narrow feet. Perfect fit as I can wear thicker socks with it.
