🍶 Large 16 oz Empty Amber Glass Bottles with Black Lotion Pumps by Vivaplex Review

At first the effort it took me to open the pump was more than it should have been. But my wife popped it out quickly so I guess I loosened it for her. Now that I'm using the bottle, I love it. It's a nice brown color, but you can still easily peek inside to check how much is left. I use one for lotion and the other is waiting for another use. The price was right. I definitely recommend them. Just ask someone strong to click the pump.

I love the amber look. I really wanted them to work so I thought it would be worth the extra effort to keep them and it was. The pumps don't work at all so it's a waste of money for most people. I ordered a bundle and literally had to reverse engineer each pump from other disposable soap pumps when using them to get them to work.

Dark brown glass bottles with some clarity. Use it for dish soap and body wash. The pump is made of plastic and could be better processed. It's a little weak. A pump supplies enough liquid. This is comparable to any hand soap pump bought in a store (photo below). A pump opened immediately and easily. The other doesn't. I love the bottles but the pumps get stuck and won't rise. This is very frustrating for me as I may have to buy replacement pumps that may not fit. Otherwise they are very pretty and I would have bought 1000 if the pump wasn't so annoying. Time went by, I wish I hadn't bought them as the bottles now sit in my cupboard until I found the right pumps (Ms Meyers and regular soap pumps are too big for those glass bottles). Bought the small size 8oz and unfortunately it was a waste of money.

If you've ever been to a restaurant or hotel bathroom that had soap dispensers like this and you want to buy one for your home, buy it. The quality is amazing. I've had mine for many years and they can still pass as almost new. Ideal for soap and lotion. You will need heavy duty scissors to cut the pump plastic straw a little shorter, it is too long for the bottle when you get it.

Good product. I use it as a dishwashing/hand soap dispenser. I really like that the visible part of the pump is also black instead of white. For those who find it difficult to remove the pump, simply grasp the white portion of the pump and twist the top counter-clockwise. (Video added for review) Overall a good product. :)

I bought 2 of these and 4 of the smaller 8oz. The 4 ounce pumps opened instantly, easily and with no issues. On the other hand, it took me over 20 minutes to open these 16 ounce pumps. My left thumb has stopped working and I'm right-handed so I keep it in my left hand and try to turn the pump counter-clockwise for 20 minutes and try to pump the pump (when I take it out of the bottle) with my left hand pinching my hand like someone else suggested left my left arm red and painful. I really like these bottles. I thought it was a good price for 2 so I bought them even though I only need 1 at the moment. I'm glad I have 2 because it's a good and functional piece and I'm looking forward to finding a use for the other. I bought these on purpose because I need large bottles of Dr. Bronner liquid soap and wanted a nice bottle with shower dispenser.
