Save your money

Bought from Big Lots in a trash can for $10 or less (🚩). Returned home, followed the instructions and "charged" the device overnight. After I continued to follow the instructions, the device did not connect to my phone's Bluetooth or app (ViLife). I've tried multiple times to figure it out using YouTube, the website, and Google. Still no luck.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Absolute garbage

Literally captures about 1 in 50 steps. Has a companion app that requires you to manually download all the info despite the bluetooth sync claims on the box and the instructions. The application is also rubbish and has almost no functions specified in the instructions. Your mom or grandma probably bought one of these at a discount store for $5.

Weird Pedometer

I purchased this from Vons in La Jolla, California for $5.26. Yes, $5.26 with a Vons card. No typo. I just got it out of curiosity and just to compare to my current pedometer. Conclusions: It is necessary to measure stride length to display the total distance traveled in km or miles. The battery cannot be charged or replaced. No backlight. Activity data is not automatically uploaded to the mobile app over a Bluetooth connection. You must enter data manually. As for benchmarking, just forget it.
