I bought this to replace a separate mount that was too heavy and taking up too much space on my desk. I've been looking for one that attaches to my electric stand up converter and doesn't get in the way of the legs and motor underneath when it's down. This mount works great. My standing desk converter is 5/8 inch thick and fits perfectly and securely without damaging the desk.
