Use a #3 Phillips screwdriver and follow the instructions

Okay, seriously. The screws are scrap, but quite usable. I know you use a #2 Phillips screwdriver or lower to get them in. Be sure to use a good quality #3 Phillips screwdriver and you'll have no problem stripping the insulation. Follow the instructions carefully, including preparing the pilot holes. Then the installation is smooth, like butter slightly heated in a microwave oven. For people who want to get this for the Uplift table: do it! It fits perfectly between the center beam and the…

Holds my micro ATX gaming pc very well

I prefer to buy brand new but I need to get my home office done really fast and Revain's warehouse (used) has the fastest shipping so I have get it. Even if it is used (great), you can hardly see any signs of wear. All necessary equipment is included. I fixed it under my electric table and the 4 screws hold my computer well. My table is made out of solid hardwood which adds to the strength of my build. This may not work if your table is made of faux wood. I'm using a Micro-ATX case with an MSI…

Very strong but one small note

I chose this mount for two reasons: the ability to handle a large/heavy PC when needed and the apparent strength. 4 screws instead of 2. There is no pivot where all the weight hangs on a pin. I attached this to an Apex table with a 1" thick desktop. The bracket seems very strong (for a moment I wanted to test if I could lift the table by the bracket but I didn't and I wouldn't recommend it). ). I had my doubts about the mechanism that holds the vertically adjustable lever, but it looks solid…

It works, but there are a few things to note

So this does what it promises. So 3 instead of 5 stars? Two reasons. It's unrefined, not polished. If you're not looking at it that's ok, if you think polished chrome/metal would be a nice accent I'd say not so fast. #2 - It attaches perfectly to the table. The screws provided are fine (pre-drill, use the right bit, you'll be fine) and more than able to hold this. However, the settings tabs are a bit concerning. i keep them None of the above should be brought back to my book. But both explain…

Sturdy and gets the job done

Installation was very easy. Before you screw it to the table, make sure your computer will fit! Looks very sturdy, doesn't look like it's going to fall out anytime soon. When screwing it to the table, keep in mind how you want to turn the computer on and off. I have an adjustable width on the side of my desk where I can easily pull out my computer. The width of my PC is very close to 9 inches (8.75 inches - Rosewill Cullinan MX). The picture says the bottom is 9 inches wide, but the surface…

Ideal for PC cases with bottom intake/exhaust

My computer has a GPU heatsink that sits on the bottom of the case with intake fans. The fans are only 1/2 inch off the ground, which works but isn't ideal. I wanted to elevate the case for more efficient cooling and this is the only under desk mount that is both heavy duty and has an open bottom for my heatsink and fans. With my computer case now about 6 inches off the ground and the heatsink fans sucking in copious amounts of cold air, my GPU (RTX 2080ti) now cools down 2-3 degrees (Celsius)…

Overall a good mounting option

Pros: Installation was easy. It comes with a handy template that I taped to where I wanted to mount it to make drilling holes easier. Be careful not to drill through the table top! I was a bit lucky that my desk was ONLY high enough to attach the bottom of the mount after I screwed the base on. So if your table is on the shorter side, consider attaching the bottom of the bracket before installing the top. Once installed, it seems very secure and easily supports my new computer. I also like how…
