VIVO Computer Monitor Articulating STAND V101 Review

Slightly disappointed in this product. It's easy to assemble, but the clip that holds the double-jointed arm in place doesn't work. No matter how hard you tighten it, the lever still slides along the rod attached to your desk. In order to keep my lightweight 24" LED TV at my desired height, I had to wrap several layers of tape around the stand to keep the clip from sliding off. The double-jointed arm is very stiff and not easy to change, but I hope that over time it will loosen up.

. The monitor is fairly short, allowing you to move your hand only to the top of the back of your head, but it may not be tall enough for you to be comfortable at eye level. I'm 5'11" and had to put a 3" piece of wood between the edge of the bracket and the table to even out the height of the back of my head. Also, it's a solid product that easily holds my 28 inch Samsung.

I got this because it was at the top of many "best vesa mount" lists. Unfortunately I'm a bit disappointed. It assembles very easily, but wiggles a lot horizontally with the clamp option (I have a 27" Acer Predator but I wouldn't trust the clamp for the largest size they say). and the mounting base is a major disadvantage. I was trying to get cheaper items to convert my desk into a more functional workspace and I rolled the dice on this item. I usually buy something more expensive. Currently after 2 weeks of use I have found this to be a very durable and well built item at an incredible price. I have a 29" widescreen monitor in portrait mode and it keeps it at 99% perfectly. Although this product appears to be a newer or alternative version of the VIVO Dual Articulated Single LCD Monitor Desktop Mount, the only advantage it has over its predecessor is the addition of a Dual Articulating Arm.
