Screws are too short

The installation is relatively easy, the main problem we had was that the screws are too short to fix the projector, so we didn't use them for our particular model of projector, the Vankyo 510, can use. We have a pretty unhealthy collection of screws in our arsenal, but we couldn't find any that would work. I'm sure we can find the right screws at a hardware store, but of course this is annoying.

Pros
  • Absolute legend

  • There are problems

Fits Optoma HD 71

Fits Optoma HD 71 It was well packaged and came with lots of extra screws. I was able to remove one of the hinges, which placed the projector about 2 inches closer to the ceiling. I didn't want it to hang that low. It was generally easy to install and self-explanatory, but I'm good with my hands. These things come easy to me. The included anchors and beams are VERY heavy and I'm pretty sure the projector isn't going anywhere. My projector only has 3 mounting holes, I wasn't sure how it would…

Pros
  • This is awesome
Cons
  • Useless features

This is a cheap mount that works. I've had it for two years now and it still holds up to my Epson 3500 like a champ. It comes with the drywall mounts I used on my ceiling and it works great. vertical angle adjustment. Works well until you try to straighten the project as it slowly falls down about an inch or so on its own. In a big house I don't really see this as a problem as the projector will most likely need to be tilted down anyway. This isn't an issue for me as the angle it hits is…

Works with Epson 5050ub. something like

The claim that holes 12.5" apart will fit is misleading. The holes on the Epson pictured are about 12 inches apart left to right. If you fully extend the two mounting arms directly opposite, their holes will be 12.5 inches apart. But not a single projector that I know of is mounted like this. Usually you need to create an X pattern with the brackets, so you need to measure the DIAGONAL distance between the holes on the projector. Although I was still able to mount with 3 brackets and it was…

Pros
  • High test results for grip and durability
Cons
  • It's ok

Great mount, but not perfect, I'll explain.

I bought the mount because it seemed to suit my needs, but I didn't know what size the mounting screws came with, so I took a chance on my projector fits . One of the screws went into the mounting holes on the GooDee video projector, but the included screws weren't long enough because the projector's legs had to be removed and the screw holes penetrated about 3/8 inch. The quick fix for this projector was to run to the hardware store, get the recommended screw size for my projector and increase

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Instructions a little vague but as there is nothing difficult to understand about this mount, installation was very simple and easy when I got it found out the best place for my projector. The adjustments are self explanatory once you look at the mount and it's easy to make it work for your particular projector as the feet used to mount the projector can move in any direction and the kit screws too in different sizes includes washers. Overall the mount looks nice with the white powder coating…

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • unreliable

I was trying to fit this 3 point fit to my Optoma HD146X and I figured it wouldn't work and I'd have to buy something else (in fact I placed an order). Revain on two other models and was willing to buy something for a specific model). But then I solved everything again and moved things around and it worked! See my first photo for the final configuration. It's important to note that the distances between the holes are not equal, so it matters which item you put where (because of the "three out…
