I bought it for a small indoor grow tent and returned it immediately. Decided to spend a little more money and bought the AC Infinity device that I should have had. Not the best Vivosun product. Pros: - It actually has good airflow. - possibly suitable for hanging. - Super strong material. The block itself is heavy. Cons: - Not even a switch. Plug it in and let it work. - No power settings, wish there was at least a high/low switch. - Much louder than described and as stated by other reviewers.

Bought one of these units and the fan started making a loud squeak and roar. The block was replaced and less than 2 months passed again, the same started with the replacement. I can highly recommend another duct fan. ``Upgrade``` Vivosun personally refunded me a replacement fan that was starting to crack. update: almost a month later. I have to say, this thing is damn loud. I've brought the tent to my office and I can't hear my own thoughts while I'm working. I bought a vivosun manual adjuster and when you take it away it gets MUCH louder. I had to reschedule. If you're throwing something you really need out of the field, then this little guy isn't cut out for the job. Out of the box, and even without connecting to air ducts, it creates a fairly powerful flow of air from the seam parts around the fan, from the mounting screw holes, and from the side-mounted control box. The lack of a gasket on the wing meant I had to do extra work as the smoke was coming into the room from a fan rather than a duct.
