These little hot shoe connectors are very elusive. They always seem to want to hide. I'm glad I now have a replacement for her. Very important.

I'm not sure why you would order 3 or 5 or more of these if you only need 1 but I'm guessing they want more money. I found the fit to be good, but the color is dark gray rather than black like the rest of my camera. I judged this product more on the shape than the finish.

I have bought a few others from other manufacturers in the past and they either slip off, don't fit properly or just don't fit. I was very skeptical to say the least but to my delight the clasps are not only there but look original and the price is amazing.

Well all they have to do is put on a hot shoe and they will. I've never really bothered with my Canon cameras but with the various ports in the Sony hot shoe I'm sure it's always there when I'm not using a flash AND I tend to lose them so this ticks all the boxes , what I need. .

Overall these are good hot shoe cases, I think they could be a bit better if they were a bit tighter. The ones I got slide off a little easier than the original. For me they didn't loosen during use but they did move a bit so if they were a little tighter they would be a lot better.

Since the hot shoe is a weak point for water to get in, I try to keep it closed when not using the shutter button. There are times when you lose OEM hot shoe caps and always buy one or two from the camera store when thinking of spares as I often lose them in the field. I got 5 for the price I would pay for an OEM and the non-original ones fit both of my bodies just like the OEM. Good product.
