I have had a similar beanie that I have worn for many years but it is nowhere near as good in quality or comfort. I have to open the adjustment strap as far as the buckle will allow, and the year the hat wanders over my head I have to constantly adjust the hat, or the strap, or the strap, or the hat. These things don't have to be so complicated to wear. Miss my old hat!

good = soft and pretty on a small head. Bad = The description says it fits 7 1/8 to 7 1/2 which is inaccurate. It will cover your head if you wear these sizes, but if you are over 21 3/8 inches tall it will completely distort and lose its shape when you put it on. I'm 22.5 inches, which is the height listed on all the charts. If your head is larger than 21 3/8 inches, buy another hat.

I have another Fidel style hat that has served me well for many years but I have had trouble finding another that fits me well and which I like to wear but with some markings. I don't want to constantly show that I want to wear a hat, this hat fits so to speak ;). It's easy to adjust and I love that the strap easily slides back into place to hide it. It's not particularly warm but I wasn't expecting that as I have fleece hats for cold weather.

Exceeds my quality expectations. In addition, it was well packaged. It didn't wrinkle like some other hats have complained about. It came in a large plastic bag in a decent box and had a molded plastic liner in the main part of the cap to prevent it from wrinkling. This insert seems almost superfluous as the hat itself is quite stiff. I turned green and that's what I wanted. It also fits perfectly. Highly recommended.

I ordered military green military hats and a black cotton hat. Both fit perfectly. Very comfortable and adjustable. Women's hats were a bit small for me (short and didn't cover my face enough). Both hats fit - sit on the tips of my ears. The brim provides adequate face coverage. I can wear my hair down, in a low/high ponytail, and hats still feel secure.
