I bought this for my Mongoose Dolomite. It fits well, I used a few extra washers to increase the distance between the support bars and the bar. I've had seatpost mounted posts in the past, they tend to move a bit no matter how tight you clamp them. The additional bottom supports on this rack are great. Not only do they allow the rack to carry more weight (if you need it), they also make the entire rack more rigid so it doesn't twist at all.

5 stars for clear assembly instructions, tools and elastic loop. Make sure the sprocket side bracket is set high so it doesn't hit the chain. Before installing, I recommend putting the bike in the highest gear. I disassembled the bungee loop to permanently attach the loop to the post. I recommend using duct tape when installing the spacers and detaching the bungee loop to make things a little easier. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase.

Just finished installing this little deal and boy what a deal. I can already say it will do everything I would expect it to do as it is quite strong and can easily hold 30lbs of groceries in 2 wire baskets. Remember it's universal. You can no longer remove the battery once it is pulled out from behind the seat. Took an hour or two to install, but I'm 67 and a little slow moving. They include rubber pads of which 4 I only used 2 but the goal is that your frame doesn't scare and I don't care.
