This headset was intended to replace an existing telephone headset. Their shape is slightly different and the hole for hanging the phone is slightly larger. These two differences mean that it doesn't work on our phone. But I kept it because we could use the cable.

Will not hold down hook whether on a table or hanging on the wall using the hose holder's tongue orientation, causing problems with removing the hose. Tried on Polycom VVX400 and VVX411 which are essentially the same phone. The sound quality was fine. However, this is useless as it doesn't preserve the state of the phone on the handset.
