This cable will work with Oculus Quest ONLY when properly rotated. I know a Type-C cable should work both ways, but this one doesn't. If you have trouble, flip it and connect it another way. Otherwise it's a good cable at a good price.

This cable is literally the best cable for communication. Just below the official Quest cable because it's longer. But this cable charges my headset while I play! What is the main benefit of the Oculus Link cable? The only plus for the patch cord is that the patch cord is 16 feet long compared to 10 feet. Although 10 meters is enough for me. Very satisfied!

Worked for about a week. It now sometimes registers as a USB 2.0 cable instead of a 3.1 cable and doesn't work with my Oculus Quest. In most cases, my computer doesn't even see it when connected. I've tried this with my phone and other devices and it's very inconsistent. It feels like a quality cable if only it worked that way. Very dissatisfied with this purchase.

It loses TONS of frames while passing the link test. Last night I did a test that produced a thousand frames in about a minute. Disappointing because I don't have a return window as it passed the Oculus Link test so I thought it worked but it actually didn't. To be clear, my computer is more than powerful enough and games run much smoother when played wirelessly.

I got the message and thought I'd get an easy setup as my laptop was Oculus enabled. I had horrible settings and was only able to get it working for half an hour before it completely shut down and stopped working. Hugely disappointing, I was hoping to play lots of fun games but I think Oculus Link was the wrong way to go. This USB 3.1 cable meets Oculus link cable requirements, as verified by cable tests run by the Oculus software.
