VONOTO Tripod Camera Camcorder Bracket Review

I ordered two of these along with 30ft tripods as accessories for the HTC Vive virtual reality headset. They're perfect for setting the cameras at the right angle, no matter where you set up your VR experience. These mounts combined with two tripods make it much easier to take your VR to different rooms or even visit friends to show it off.

Works well with phone holder. It'll probably work well with smaller, lighter cameras too, but the head can't handle heavier loads like a DSLR. Even without lenses. Works great for what I use it for, mainly my phone. Even when fully tightened, it's still loose enough to be manipulated and still maintains an angle. That's why I don't recommend it for heavier cameras. Or maybe mine is defective?

This is normal. It's not panning no matter what others say! The seam on the bottom is not a swivel mechanism. When you tighten the side set screw, it grabs down with the cone head screw and pushes up to grab the ball mount and pinch it between the top and bottom. The plastic disc that comes into contact with the camera is really thin. It's good for time-lapse photography, however, or setting up a flash if you have a flash mouthpiece. Lowest processing quality for a supposed tripod accessory. The metal warps and streaks simply by screwing it into a standard tripod. Terrible build quality. Tons of metal dust after installing one of the two - the second didn't install because of the first. Attached the camera to the top turntable and took some pictures. I tried unscrewing the chamber and the top metal rod that was unscrewed from the ball lock mechanism. It was a mess and probably ruined a decent tripod if I can't find the…
