A few years ago I replaced an oil heater with heaters for cost reasons. I run different Vornado devices depending on the room. This heater is the darkest of them all. People need to understand that they have two driving forces behind heaters: heat output and fan speed. They go hand in hand. I've run it in the garage for a few hours on low temp and it seems to be working. It warmed the garage to a comfortable level but there are TWO issues with it that make me want to return it or replace it or give it to someone less sensitive than me and buy a different product from a different manufacturer .
